My journey did not begin in a classroom, but on the volleyball court and a bicycle path. As a state-level volleyball player, I learned the value of resilience and physical discipline early on. This drive led me to pursue Yoga at the age of 16, cycling 10 kilometers every morning at 5:00 AM to the Gandhi Museum to study—often as the only female in the room.
Inspired by the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and a deep-rooted connection to Tamil culture, I began a lifelong quest for "the eternal"—searching for a way to bridge the gap between spiritual well-being and social reality.
While my initial path led me toward paramedical studies, I quickly observed a gap in the healthcare system: the lack of a holistic, human-centric approach to healing. This realization prompted my transition into Social Work (MSW).
My research and field experience taught me that true impact requires a "Leader-Practitioner" model. This led me to pursue a PhD, focusing on systemic social change while simultaneously gaining expertise in Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Acupuncture, and Varma therapy. I believe that to solve complex social issues, one must understand both the biological and the sociological layers of the human experience.
Her journey into homeopathy is inseparable from her spiritual path. Throughout her life of service, she has often been asked whether one must pass through specific personal experiences or suffering in order to truly heal and understand others.
Her answer is not theoretical — it is lived.
She believes that healing is born from awareness, compassion, discipline, and deep inner work — not solely from personal pain. Through years of spiritual practice, study, and dedicated service, she has cultivated a profound empathy that transcends social roles and conventional expectations.
She has consciously chosen a life fully devoted to healing and women’s empowerment. This decision is not an absence of something, but a powerful presence of clarity, purpose, and unwavering commitment. She stands firm in the belief that a woman’s capacity to serve, lead, and heal is complete in itself.
In alignment with her values, she dedicates not only her time and energy but also the entirety of her earnings to the Trust she serves, ensuring that her work remains rooted in service rather than personal gain.
Her life affirms that true service is not limited by societal definitions, and that every woman has the right to choose her path with dignity, strength, and self-respect.
At the age of 21, I channeled my passion into action by registering the Yogamritham Charitable Trust. What began as a humble initiative—with my mother as my first staff member—has evolved into a robust ecosystem of empowerment across Tamil Nadu.
Women’s Health & Advocacy
Women’s Health Advocacy: Led initiatives that reached over 2,15,345 women across Tamil Nadu, focusing on reproductive health and wellness education
Systemic Change: Provided a platform for women to discuss and resolve health issues that are often sidelined in rural discourse.
Economic Empowerment & Livelihood
Economic Empowerment: Trained over 700 women in vocational skills like tailoring and computer literacy, enabling them to lead financially independent lives.
Micro-Entrepreneurship: Facilitated livestock loans and self-help groups to build sustainable village economies.
A Sanctuary for Special Education
My journey eventually led me to address the "business" of special education. Seeing the struggle of children with Autism and Cerebral Palsy (CP), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) I founded a specialized school that rejects the profit-driven model.
Integrated Care: Combining psychological support with specialized physical therapies.
Mother-Centric Support: Ensuring that the caregivers of children with special needs receive the mental health support they need to thrive.
Planetary Positions & Mental–Emotional Health
As part of our continuing exploration into holistic healing, we are engaged in the study of planetary patterns within the framework of medical and holistic astrology. This research examines planetary positions as symbolic indicators of mental tendencies, emotional patterns, stress responses, and recovery cycles.
Through ongoing observation and clinical correlation, we explore how certain planetary movements may align with:
Emotional sensitivity and regulation patterns
Attention, focus, and impulse tendencies
Anxiety states, mood fluctuations, and sleep cycles
Periods of relapse, resistance, or improved therapeutic responsiveness
When integrated thoughtfully with homeopathy and holistic therapies, medical astrology is studied as a complementary interpretative framework. It may assist practitioners in understanding constitutional tendencies and identifying supportive timing for therapeutic interventions.
This area of study is approached with responsibility and discernment. It does not replace medical, psychiatric, or psychological care. Rather, it seeks to contribute to a more personalized and rhythm-aligned healing process, recognizing the interconnected nature of mind, body, and life cycles.
My doctoral and clinical research in Homeopathy, Naturopathy, and Varma therapy eventually converged on a single mission: supporting children with special needs.
Today, our school serves as a sanctuary for children with Autism and Cerebral Palsy. I established a specialized school that integrates my PhD-level research with compassionate care. We don’t just focus on the child; we focus on the mother, providing psychological support and therapeutic training to the primary caregivers, ensuring the entire family unit can thrive despite the challenges of disability. I am driven by the same inquiry I had as a 16-year-old on a bicycle: How can we make the lives of the vulnerable more stable, more dignified, and more joyful?
